Miami-Dade County is updating its Comprehensive Development Master Plan and is now within the process of holding public workshops and is also conducting an online survey. We request that you help get the word out to your association members and residents for them to attend a workshop and complete the online survey.  Workshops:

There are two upcoming community workshops, and both are in the western area of the County.

1. The next one is Monday, March 23, 2026, at 6 p.m. at the Ruben Dario Park & Community Center (9825 W. Flagler Street, Miami, FL 33174)
2. The final workshop is Monday, March 30, 2026, at 6 p.m. at West Kendall Regional Library (10201 Hammocks Blvd, Miami, FL 3319)

These workshops are informative for the public and also help County staff get input while evaluating, appraising, and ultimately updating the Comprehensive Development Master Plan (CDMP), which expresses the broad vision for the County and directs where and how growth will occur.

Public input is an integral part of the EAR process. The community’s vision can make a significant impact on the future of the County. These workshops will provide:

• An overview of the CDMP and the EAR process.
• Opportunities for residents to share feedback on how the county should grow and evolve.
• Interactive discussions with planning staff.

Survey

The County has also created a survey to get public opinion on the future of the County. Please fill in the survey and encourage your association members to fill in the survey, as well.
